Musician and singer Tom Petrone harkens us back to the golden age of jazz with his new album Waitin’ On The L Train. Inspired by the timeless artistry of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles, the record is a lush and heartfelt journey through classic sounds reimagined for today.

Tom grew up as the youngest of four brothers in a very musical family. Some of his earliest memories are singing in the kitchen with his brothers while doing dishes. His mother loved Mario Lanza, while Tom himself was captivated by the soaring voice of Pavarotti. These early influences shaped his love for powerful, expressive singing—a love that eventually found its fullest expression in jazz.

When asked about his life in music today, Tom puts it simply: “I am in the studio almost every day, creating music and chasing new ideas. Working with world-class musicians, producers, and engineers is my passion—and singing will always be my true calling.”
